This never ending story paid for with pride and fate
We all fall short of glory, lost in our fate
-30 Seconds To Mars,
Closer To The EdgeI've been telling myself for ages to quote from this song and I finally have yay. I actually don't completely get the lyrics, but it's pretty kewl and it has a freakishly awesome music video that was what actually made me like it in the first place. I mean, I don't even listen to this band.
Anywayyy. I'm just posting in an attempt to make sure my blog doesn't die and decompose like all the bodies I see on the way too many cop shows I watch.
Since I last posted on Sunday, nothing has happened really. I went for training on Tuesday, and now my muscles hurt because I haven't trained for like what, 2 weeks. It wasn't really horrible actually. Except for fielding, and PT, which makes up to more than half of training, hmm.
And ugh tomorrow my coach is gonna make us run up four levels (I think) of stairs and come back down and the four people with the slowest timings would have to redo. And that's to be done after all the other tiring PT shit gah.
And I cannot field which is freaking pissing. And I can't throw either. And my batting reflexes are really slow gosh I really suck at softball.
Yeah, besides training I've just been stoning at home getting sidetracked from reading my book and watching way too much TV. Gah I spend like, 4/5 hours on TV every night gosh. Like, not-so-random comedies from 7-8, then I'd watch the rerun of the previous night's
Dexter till 9, then random
NCIS season 5 reruns, then
Bones till 11, then I'd try to watch the new episode of
Dexter but I'd end up being really guai and not watching all of it in the end.
--
I posted all that on, Wednesday night. And now it's Friday morning. And I shall chiong this post before I have to go to YongHui's house. I'm probably going to be the earliest anyway 'cause everyone else has training so it doesn't really matter.
Hmm. Uh. Thursday. Training was, uh, my coach was PMS-ing the whole time. He made Joyce and I run ten rounds for sitting down? Mm, but we only ran like eight. And yeah, basically he was really pissy until the end of training, but besides that the stuff we were doing weren't actually tiring. We didn't even do PT whee.
And uh, yeah, that's everything I have to post about? Gahhhh I'm freaking screwed for LA. And I have chalet for the first half of next week then I think Divya's trying to fit an OM meeting into the last few days of the holidays and just yeah, I'm fucking screwed.
Gah. Stupid LA.
Anyway. Uh. Bijou like started, virtually- scolding? okay not the right word, just idk, for posting too much about random celebrity shit. There's a big difference between fandom-related stuff and celebrity-related shit. Like, my previous post. The top part about me being a horrible JMac fan and Kris Allen's haters was important, to me at least, enough to post about. The Matt Bomer bit I just needed somewhere to rant, so yeah, sorry.
So yeah, the next thing I'm post about is fandom-related? So yeahhhhh.
Uhhhh, yknow David A's second album was voted the top album of Billboard Readers' Poll: Favorite Album for 2010. Apparently he beat Eminem, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and dun dun dun, Justin Bieber. Yeah, which really doesn't make any sense.
You know he has a horrible fan:album sales ratio, for this album at least. I saw on this random AI blog. Like, some random not-so-random website or something approximated random AI people's number of fans based on their online social network numbers and random cheem algorithms. And uhh, most people have a ratio of 0.33, which means, approximately, in every 3 fans they have, one bought their album. But David A's ratio, for this album, was like, 0.02. Wtf.
Okay I'm gonna stop now. Plus the fact if I don't I'm going to be really late so yeah.
Ugh omg my challenge isn't in my Saved Tabs so i have to search for it in my History ughhh.
Day 03 - Your favorite Kris Allen song.Uhhhhh.
The Truth. Ugh I hate saying that
The Truth is my favourite because somehow I didn't feel bad because it's like one of the three out of fifteen songs on his album he didn't write. Ugh.
Day 04 - Your favorite song from Brand New Shoes.I Was Played. Because I haven't listened to a lot of his songs from this album (his pre-
Idol album) and yeah, it's like, the one with the least-awkward lyrics, and the only one I actually downloaded. Hahah idk.
Day 05 - Your favorite song from Kris Allen (the album).Ugh -points to Day 03-. Why do I keep using ugh. Anyway, uh, besides
The Truth which he didn't even co-write,
From The Ashes, probably. At first I thought it was just-okay, but it's one of those songs that grows on you, and yeah, it's just a really nice song.
Day 06 - Number of Kris Allen concerts you’ve been to.Zero,
ugh I need to stop overusing ugh. He came to Singapore like once, early this year. February something. The 10th? I just know it was a Wednesday. And yeah, I couldn't go because nobody wanted to go with me and they made him perform in a fucking bar so anyone below 16 needs an adult above 18 to accompany them? Yeah, idk, I can't remember.
Day 07 - Your favorite Kris Allen live performance.Uhm, his acoustic version of
Before We Come Undone at some Alzheimer's fundraiser telethon. Even though that song's not even one my favourites, the way he does the acoustic version is just really, awesome. So yeah, at least I think that's my favourite. Or, one of my favourites that I've recently watched.
