I Can Wait ForeverHuh now that I type it out I just realized that this whole song is full of cliche lyrics. But like, idk, when you put it in this song just nobody finds it cliche. Okay not nobody, just most people I know. And me.
Anyway, ugh I think they died or something. Idk, it's really hard for me to like a band when they have nothing going on. I think they're recording an album? And yeah, bands take much longer to record albums, I think.
I wanna change my blogskin! Ugh I'm getting really sick of my current blogskin idk why. Yesh I shall change my blogskin by Friday. -UGH I just remembered that I think I'm going out on Friday so I can't change my blogskin meh- And I will not use a song by an artist I've already used before.
Anywayy. Uhh. Idk, nothing much happened during school. Monday, we had drama! Hahah it's quite fun. Even though the teacher's totally a weirdo, but yeah, that's part of what makes it funny.
Tuesday, we met our Geog teacher. She's this intern who graduated from HCI last year. Ugh interns are
horrible not-so-good teachers. Like, even though they're usually really nice and all but still. And we had Malay! Ugh the teacher gives Malay names to people's whose names she can't pronounce or there's like, another person with a similar name. Which includes me, ugh every non-Chinese person cannot read my "Yu" for some reason wth okay I'm serious.
Ohh and I had training and it was mostly slack except for the end, where we kept doing base-running and I cannot lean in properly so my running's very ugh. And I keep missing bases, and I can't not overrun. And then we did PT omg my legs were gonna die. We had to do lunges across the, whole, field, And back. Yeah.
Then today. We watched
Mississippi Burning during our LA Combined Class. It's this movie on racial discrimination. American is a screwed, screwed place man. NgXin was like freaking out and covering her eyes through the whole thing and it wasn't even that gory please. I bet if she watched like one episode of
Dexter she would've just died.
Which reminds me!
As you most probably don't remember, one of my New Year resolutions was to read more Omgg it wasn't what was I thinking! Okay whatever, it counts under the improving my academics one. Because I really don't read at all except for school and my writing style is so freaking awkward.
Anyway back to the point, I borrowed
Darkly Dreaming Dexter, which is the book
Dexter the show is based on! 'Cause I have a horrible attention span but I know that would actually capture my attention. For a longer-than-usual time, at least. Ohh and I borrowed a
Burn Notice book too! I didn't even know there was
Burn Notice books until I saw the library was displaying all these crime books. But it's like, a book based off
Burn Notice instead of
Burn Notice being based on it so it might be not as good? Or maybe better idk.
But anyway gah I have a feeling I'll just read the first few chapters or so and just give up because it's not living up to the expectations of the TV show 'cause idk, the words just can't make me imagine and bring me into another world blah blah. But a show/film will literally do that for you so yeah. Ugh the same thing happened with
FlashForward. But I think that one was also a bit because it was set sometime ago and I just don't really like anything not set in a current-ish timeframe. Plus, it was a lot more science-y than crime-y, and I like the crime bit more man. Plus all the epic characters are gone.
Anywayyy. Sorry for having a TV show rant. It almost counts as a book rant! Hahah that's a first for me.
Ugh can I rant this tiny bit about Cory Monteith. It'd only be like one sentence I swear.
Like, he had this post on ontd then everyone kept going "Why am I starting to find him attractive?" because they used to dislike him because he's basic or some shit then everyone started spamming gifs and interviews and I finally started liking him more than "this hot guy who plays the only non-irritating main character on
Glee besides the retarded blonde cheerleader although they're taking the dumb jock act too far tbh" then someone recommended his Tumblrs and now my Dashboard is completely spammed with his photos and ugh I think if I don't start unfollowing some soon I'm gonna get sick of his awesomeness and lose the almost-only reason I watch
Glee because now it's just become this huge dramatic clusterfuck.
So yeah, I'm gonna go finish my Math worksheet now so I can start reading and make time for changing my blogskin over the next few days and sleep earlier? Hahah I've been sleeping sort of before 12 these days yay.
